Buddy Hield's Historic Game 7 Performance Propels Warriors Past Rockets

In a high-stakes Game 7 showdown, Buddy Hield's exceptional shooting performance led the Golden State Warriors to a 103–89 victory over the Houston Rockets, clinching their spot in the Western Conference Semifinals.

Hield, who had been relatively quiet in the earlier games of the series, erupted for 33 points, including nine three-pointers, tying an NBA record for most threes in a Game 7. His early offensive burst provided the Warriors with a lead they maintained throughout the game.

Stephen Curry complemented Hield's efforts by contributing 22 points, 14 of which came in the fourth quarter. Curry's leadership and timely scoring ensured the Warriors' dominance in the latter stages of the game.

The Rockets, despite a commendable season and a strong push to force a Game 7, struggled offensively. Fred VanVleet led Houston with 17 points, while Alperen Şengün added 21 points and 14 rebounds. However, the team's overall shooting woes and inability to contain Hield's perimeter shooting proved detrimental.

With this victory, the Warriors advance to face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the next round of the playoffs. Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals is scheduled for Tuesday in Minnesota.
